Three words: Blaze The Cat. Seriously, the fact she wasn't in it was the only thing I didn't like about the game. I think she'd be great for an RPG, and have her instead of Big and Cream. Sure Cream was useful and all but character wise I don't think she really added much to the plot.
I could do without Rouge too to be honest. The other characters are fine.
But please, I really hope they put Blaze in the second one.

Blaze doesn't need bombs for her fire power. And at least she doesn't flaunt herself like Rouge does. Blaze totally pwns Rouge.

Actually Blaze can fly too. Or at least she can hover, and I don't think Rouge would even get close to her when Blaze "Blazes up" her fire power.
