What it will be in your opinion or what are you expecting about it? I say it could be a sequel to Sonic & Knuckles or it could be a remake of the old Sonic games.

Somehow, the more I hear about Project Needlemouse, the less excited I get. They've already tried making remakes. And they failed. But on the other hand, a sequel to S3+K might mean the return of the true Hyper forms. So my feelings are mixed.

Basically what Quicksilver said, except you can only go so far with the graphics since it will be 2-D...

that means that the only charcter in the whole game will be Sonic and Egg- excuse me, ROBOTNIK. I can say Sayonara to any storyline. And what's worse, if the game becomes a big success, then it's quite possible that they may stay on the path they're taking with Project Needlemouse, which also would mean, that all the characters we've come to know and love, may be gone.playable or otherwise

Only Sonic is going to be playable..SEGA is going retro...Sonic Retro.
