What exactly would you say made the originals great?

the general ideas really,such as it seemed like they had fun making them, say SADX, tha was an incredibly fun game, when u played it you could see the effort that went into creating it.

well,obviously there where the abilitys and the effort that went into texturing each characters attacks. And there is the fact that that it had little glitches in it, so far i have found 1 in total, but in recent games like sonic 06 it was glitchy as hell, the slightest wrong move you could have been wedged halfway between the wall or trapped for hours being picked up by Silver.

yeah...I'd say that's a big glitch.

I haven't played many of the newer games. I only know what the plot is, which ironically is what I enjoy the most.
