Easter Egg Characters?

Lately, my friends were constantly requesting their character in the game. Well, I'm pretty annoyed now. So, I came up with the idea of Fan Characters hiding in 'hard- to- get- to' spots. Up first? Ziggy the Hedgehog. Hidden in the first level. I'll add more when the demo progresses.

hmm...sounds gud to me, it would be cool if u cud unlock them for 2-player or somat.

That's a good idea, but we have all the main, helping, and 2P characters filled.

Then... what would they be used for?

As an Easter Egg character, they just sit there. You can't touch them, nor control them.

How about using them as some sort of secret bonus level that can't be played unless you find him/her? Like in Sonic 3D Blast, you have to find Knuckles or Tails in the level in order to try and get the chaos emerald.

Then it wouldn't be an Easter Egg Character.

...Oh

You see, an Easter Egg (in general) is a little surprise that dosen't do anything at all. Hope that clears something for you, EP.

thats actuallypretty easy we just take the character sprites create asimpleobjectput the sprite on it and place the object somewhere in the map with a higher depth the the palyer object so that the player overlays the easter egg character when moving over them
